Na’s got Seoul

Kevin Na’s final-round 66 at Colonial saw the 35-year-old sweep to his third PGA Tour title by four shots from big-hitting Tony Finau.

Na is proof that sometimes sheer driving power is not always the answer, averaging 'just' 280 yards off the tee (still a long way but far shorter than a majority of his competitors). Fortunately for Na, Colonial is a tight track where placement over power is the key to victory and as the only man in Tour history to have recorded three rounds of 62 or better at Colonial - as well as co-owning the course record of 61 - it was inevitable he would one day claim the title for his own.

Bronte sets new Law ahead of U.S. Open

There was British success stateside over the weekend as England’s Bronte Law claimed her first LPGA Tour title in fine fashion at the Pure Silk Championship in Virginia.

It has been a whirlwind month for the 24-year-old after she just missed out on a maiden title at the Mediheal Championship at the beginning of May, losing in a playoff to Kim Sei-young. But with the U.S. Women’s Open getting underway this week, Law could not have hit form at a better time.

Gaps? Who wants them.
