A Happy New Year to you all, here's hoping youenjoy your best ever year on and off the golfcourse. We don't wish to start the year on anegative, but let's face it, the weather isn'tlooking too great is it?! 

With this in mind, we know many of you havetaken to the range to work on your game. If youare doing so, rather than taking a bucket ofballs and swinging away aimlessly, give yourselfa goal. It takes no time at all to crack yourway through 30 or 60 balls, but what are youhoping to achieve by the end of it? Too manyamateur golfers make this common mistake. 

Wehave some ways of helping you to improve yourrange time. Come and speak to the team becausewe can identify areas of your game where you canimprove and offer drills to help you get there.Not only will goals help you focus more on whatyou're trying to achieve, but it will makehitting balls a touch more rewarding as well.

I am pleased that I am able to announce thewinners of a very successful Christmas Draw.

I first place and the winner of the CallawayDriver was John Ashton, insecond was John Murray who wona Callaway Fairway wood and third was SimonSmollet who won a SkyCaddie. Infourth was Kath Buckley and shewon a Titleist Stand bag, fifth was RegPollard who scooped a Yes Putter andsixth was Andrew Keenan whowon a Club Travel Cover for his golf bag.
